Occasional thumbprinting in margins, else interior unmarked. Patch of heavy foxing / gluestaining to front free pastedown with some toning to endpapers in general. Boards are square with some smudging and soiling to cloth, mainly along edges and spine, and some dulling to gilt.
Dust jacket restored by prior owner with full backing in archival tissue and color fills and touch-ups along edges evidence under light of prior shallow chips and tears along edges and folds, with a quarter-sized chip at head of spine (with some loss to original text, now filled by hand), some current smudging / spotting to surface, and light edgewear. Illustrated dust jacket with $2.00 price intact bound in red cloth with gilt lettering and illustration. Black and white and color illustrations throughout.
